Spadam me tiste ljudi, ki ničesar ne vržejo stran, zato imam v mojem ustvarjalnem skladišču številne odrezke raznih papirjev, trakcev...
Spodnja voščilnica predstavlja idejo za uporabo majhnih kosov potiskanega papirja.

I am one of those people, that never throw anything away. Therefore, I have many patterned paper cuttings, ribbon parts... in my crafting store.

Za mamo / For mum

Zadnjič sem obiskala lokalno trgovinico z umetniškim materialom. "Da vidim kaj imajo", sem si rekla. Na moje presenečenje so imeli konkretno znižanje na številne rezalne šablone. Posledično sem vsa vesela prišla domov s kupom novih pripomočkov. Dve rezalni šabloni pa sem uporabila tudi na spodnji voščilnici, ki sem jo poslala mami za rojstni dan.

P.S.: Še vedno lahko sodelujete v žrebanju za bonbončka na moji strani.

A few weeks ago I visited a local crafting shop. "To see what they have", I said. To my surprise they had a massive sale on several cutting stencils. Consequently I returned home all happy, full of new stuff. I used two of the new cutting stencils also on the following card, which I sent to my mum for her birthday.

Novosti in bonbončka / Newness and candies

Dragi soustvarjalci in vsi tisti, ki radi pokukate na moj blog. Zadnje pol leta je le-ta malce sameval, zaradi številnih drugih obveznostih. Kljub temu, so zadnji meseci prinesli kar nekaj lepih novosti. Selitev v drugo državo in večje stanovanje mi je omogočilo, da imam po dolgem času čisto svoj ustvarjalni kotiček. Sedaj torej moje ustvarjanje ne bo zgolj kampanjsko ob počitnicah, ko sem se vračala na dopust v Slovenijo. Poleg tega imam z novim letom novo grafično podobo, nov spletni naslov in tudi stran na Facebooku.

To veselje bi rada delila tudi z vami, zato sem pripravila dva majhna bonbončka, ki vsebujeta nekaj uporabnih materialov za ustvarjanje. Za nagrado se potegujete tako, da spodaj komentirate to objavo. Hvaležna bom tudi, če informacijo o bonbončkih delite med druge ustvarjalce.

Bonbonček 1 vsebuje:
- paket majhnih rezalnih šablonic,
- paket samolepilnih svetlečih kamenčkov in
- paket okrasnih razcepkov.

Bonbonček 2 vsebuje:
- blok z 32 pisanimi kartončki,
- paket lesenih okraskov in
- paket pisanih gumbov.

Žrebanje bo 14.2.2017.

Dear co-crafters and all of you who enjoy visiting my blog. Lately it was very quiet around here, due to many obligations I had. However, the past few months brought some good news. Moving to another country and into a bigger flat enabled me to have my very own crafting space. Now my crafting won't be limited only to holidays, when I visited Slovenia. Moreover, I also have a new graphic image, new web address and a Facebook page.

I would like to spread this happiness with you, therefore I prepared two little candies with various crafting materials. To take part in the drawing, simply comment this post. I would also be grateful if you spread the news about the candies to other crafters.

Candy 1 includes:
- cutting dies,
- rhinestones and
- brads.

Candy 2 includes:
- 32 sheets of cardboard patterns,
- wooden embellishments and
- printed buttons.

The draw will take part on 14th February 2017.

Pomladni vrt / Spring garden

To voščilnico sem naredila že dolgo časa nazaj. Za zgornji del ozadja sem uporabila pikčasto embosiran papir, v spodnjem delu pa zelen črtast papir. V sredino vsakega cveta sem dodala gumb, stebla pa sem narisala s pomočjo 3D linerja.

I made this card a long time ago. I used embossed paper with dots on the top and green striped paper on the bottom. In the centre of the flowers I added buttons and I draw the stems using 3D liner.

Enostavna prepognjenka / Simple folded card

To voščilnico sem poslala teti za rojstni dan. Idejo o zavihanem papirju sem našla na Pinterestu - še lepše pride do izraza, če ima papir različen vzorec na vsaki strani. Dodala sem še nekaj okraskov in to je bilo to.

I sent this card to my aunt for her birthday. I found the idea of the folded paper on Pinterest - and the effect is much nicer if you use the paper with different patterns on each side. I just added a few embellishments and that was it.

Pomladni motiv in velikonočna jajca / Spring motif and Easter eggs

Kar nekaj časa me že ni bilo na spregled. Glavni razlog tiči v številnih obveznostih na študijskem področju, a danes je praznik in odločila sem se, da vam pokažem nekaj bolj pomladnega.
Štampiljko s ptico in rožami mi je že dolgo časa nazaj posodila Natali. Motiv sem pobarvala s Promarkerji, v izrezano okence na sredini pa prilepila pavs papir. Za starinski izgled sem robove natrgala z nožkom in osenčila s pomočjo Distress balzinic.

I was away from my blog for some time, mainly because of increased study obligations. However, today is Easter Monday and I decided to show you something related to spring.

I borrowed the bird and flowers stamp from Natali a long time ago. I coloured the motif with Promarkers and glued tracing paper in the cut circle in the middle. For the antique appearance I teared the edges with the crafting knife and embossed it with the help of Distress ink pads.

Ker je danes tudi velikonočni ponedeljek, vam pokažem, kako sem letos pobarvala velikonočna jajca. Ne spada ravno v kategorijo ustvarjanja s papirjem, a vsekakor je tudi to neke vrste ustvarjanje.
Jajca sem položila v mrzlo vodo, kateri sem dodala malce kisa in na koščke narezano rdeče zelje. Vse skupaj sem na zmernem ognju kuhala 15-20 minut. Ker je izgledalo da se barva na jajca ne prijema, sem le-ta pobrala ven in v lonec dodala še preostalo zelje (celotna glava je tehtala približno pol kg) in vse skupaj zmiksala s paličnim mešalnikom. Jajca sem položila nazaj v lonec in jih pustila notri skoraj 10 ur. Ko sem jih pobrala ven sem mislila, da se sploh niso obravala, a ko so se posušila, je modra barva prišla precej bolje do izraza. Upam, da so tudi vam všeč.

Since it is Easter Monday today, I will show you how I coloured the Easter eggs this year. It does not suit the "paper craft" category, but I believe this is also a type of crafting.
I put the eggs into cold water, with a bit of vinegar and red cabbage cut in little pieces. I cooked it for 15-20 minutes. As it appeared the eggs did not change the color, I put them out, added the rest of red cabbage (the whole head weighed around 0.5 kg), and blended everything with hand blender. I put the eggs back into the mixture and left it in for about 10 hours. When I put them out, I though they haven't changed the colour for a bit, but when they dried, the nice blue shade started to appear. I hope you like them too.
