Boat

Summer is here and I came up with an idea for a new birthday card – a boat, sailing the sea.
I used Sizzix embossing folder to make the sea waves and I cut manually all the other paper pieces to compose the boat on which I wrote the name of the celebrating person (which I erased in the picture, as I do not want the person to see this is his/her card before time).  I also added the inscription saying “Let your boat sail peacefully all your life!”.

I enter this card to the following challenges:

The Owl

For this card I used Gorjuss’s stamp “The Owl” and coloured the image using Promarkers. The card is quite simple; I only added seams with 3D-Liner around the border.

As the owl is also a symbol of wisdom, I enter this card to Craftalnica’s Challenge #84 with the title “School is over – holidays are coming”.

Furry cat

At Craft-alnica they posted a new challenge - Challenge #83 – 1 2 3.
This means you have to use 1 motive, 2 design papers and 3 supplements.

I used:
1 motive (Helz Cuppleditch’s “Flower girl” cat, coloured with Promarkers plus a bit of white 3D-Liner for fur),
2 design papers (Tim Holtz’s idea-ology for the background and First Edition’s Love letters for green embossed paper) and
3 supplements (paper flowers, embossed inscription and liquid pearls),
and made this birthday card.
