Cvetlični vrt / Flower garden

To voščilnico sem izdelala za mamin okrogli jubilej. Ker sem želela da je nekaj posebnega, sem se odločila za nekakšen 3D izgled, kjer v osprednjem delu kraljujeo rože. Motiv vile slikarke (najden na spletu in pobarvan s Promarkerji) sem izbrala zato, ker mama rada slika.

This card was made for my mum's milestone birthday. Since I wanted it to be special, I decided to make it a bit 3D and I put a lot of flowers in the front part. I chose the motif of fairy painting (found on the internet, coloured with Promarkers) because my mum likes to paint.

Beležka za Kalido / Notebook for Kalida

V tej objavi vam pokažem kako sem okrasila beležko za punčko. Platnice sem polepila z živahnim papirjem z rožicami, na naslovno stran pa sem dodala motiv punčke z gugalnim konjem (štampiljka Gorjus, motiv pobarvan s Promarkerji). Na naslovno platnico pa seveda sodi tudi ime prejemnice. Ker je ozadje že samo po sebi zelo pisano, nisem uporabila veliko dodatnih okraskov.

In this post I want to show how I embellished a notebook for a girl. First, I stuck the covers with patterned paper with lovely flowers. On the front cover I added an image of a girl with a rocking horse (stamp by Gorjuss, coloured with Promarkers) and a label with the name. Since the background is very lively I did not use too many other embellishments.

Škatlici za Pija in Jana / Explosion boxes for Pij and Jan

Ti škatlici sta bili izdelani ob rojstvu dveh fantkov po imenu Pij in Jan. Izbrala sem poseben papir v modrem odtenku, ga reliefno embosirala in z njim polepila glavne površine škatlic. V osrednji del škatlic sem postavila kipec štorklje z dojenčkom. Na stranice škatlic sem dodala še nekaj okraskov, lepo misel, voščilo, na eni škatlici pa tudi kuvertico za denar. Na pokrovčke pa sem umestila modrega ptička.

These two explosion boxes were made for two newborn boys named Pij and Jan. I chose a special blue paper, which I dry embossed and stick over the main surfaces of the boxes. In the central part of the boxes I placed a statuette of stork with a baby. On the sides of the boxes I added some decoration, quotes, good wishes and in one box also an envelop for money. On the lid of the boxes I added a blue bird.

Škatlice presenečenja / Little surprise boxes

Ko utegnem vedno rada izdelam majhne drobnarije, ki jih podarim prijateljem in znancem. Tokrat sem izdelala majhne škatlice, ki sem jih napolnila s čokoladnimi jajčki, zajčki in piščančki. Za dekoracijo pa sem v notranjost dodala tudi malo slame.

When I can, I like making small crafts, which I give to friends and acquaintances. This time I made small boxes, which I filled with chocolate eggs, rabbits and chickens. For decoration I also added a bit of straw.

Velikonočna košarica / Easter basket

Ta košarica je pravšnja za sladka velikonočna jajčka. Idejo sem si izposodila tukaj, le dimenzije sem uporabila večje, da lahko moja košarica sprejme več čokoladnih jajčk.

This basket is perfect for sweet Easter eggs. I have found the idea here, I only used bigger dimensions, so my basket can hold more chocolate eggs.

Škatlica / Box

Tole škatlico pa sem naredila zelo dolgo časa nazaj. Služila je kot rojstnodnevno darilo, v katero smo "skrili" denar.
Ker sem uporabila tehniko "upiranja", je izdelek pravšnji, da se udeleži tekočega izziva "Ko me inspirira" s Tino in Vladko.

This box was made long time ago. We used it to "hide" in some money as a birthday gift.
As I used the "emboss resist" technique, I though this project was perfect to join the present challenge "When it inspires me" with Tina and Vladka.

Little calendar as a gift

At the end of 2013 I made little calendars, which I gave as gifts to my friends and family, but not all of them were published on the blog.
I take this opportunity and include all of them here.

I already published the tutorial here.

And a tip.. when the year came to its end, I just bought a new calendar cube and glued it on.

And two calendars with a hanger.

Calendar

I was honoured when my place cards were the inspiration for a new "When it inspires me #21" Challenge. The instructions are very simple - make something with a "pocket".

I really couldn't miss the opportunity to participate and this is my calendar.

Desk calendar stand (including tutorial)

I know we are at the beginning of November, but time flies so fast that New Year will be here in a bit. An idea of a desk calendar came into my mind and I would like to share it with you.

I cut a strip of cardboard (6 x 34 cm).

I marked where to fold it.

I fold it using a ruler and burnisher.

You can see the exact sizes here:

At the end it should look like that:

I glued the front part (the 1 cm one) and stick it to the longer (13 cm) part. You can help yourself with little clothespins.

Before gluing the last part, I embellished the upper front part.

Then I glued the last (0,5 cm) part.

 

At the end I added the calendar, which I bought at the local stationer's shop.
