Cvetlični vrt / Flower garden

To voščilnico sem izdelala za mamin okrogli jubilej. Ker sem želela da je nekaj posebnega, sem se odločila za nekakšen 3D izgled, kjer v osprednjem delu kraljujeo rože. Motiv vile slikarke (najden na spletu in pobarvan s Promarkerji) sem izbrala zato, ker mama rada slika.

This card was made for my mum's milestone birthday. Since I wanted it to be special, I decided to make it a bit 3D and I put a lot of flowers in the front part. I chose the motif of fairy painting (found on the internet, coloured with Promarkers) because my mum likes to paint.

Preprosta roža / Simple flower

Ta voščilnica je bolj preprosta. V osrednji del sem dodala večji cvet, spodaj pa sem na rožnato podlago toplotno embosirala vzorec. Nanjo sem nalepila napis, ki je prav tako toplotno embosiran.

This a more simple card. In the central part I added a bigger flower and below I added a pink stripe with heat embossed patterns. On top of it I added the inscription "Congratulations", also heat embossed.

Tale voščilnica je pravšnja za moške, ki radi poprimejo za delovno orodje. Slikice žeblja, klešč in izvijača sem našla na spletu in jih pobarvala s Promarkerji, napis pa je toplotno embosiran.

This card is perfect for handymen. I have found the images of nail, a pair of tongs and screwdriver on the internet and coloured it with Promarkers. The inscription (Congratulation) is heat embossed.

Obletnica poroke / Wedding anniversary

Ta mesec sem na Facebook strani priredila nagradno igro za vse moje sledilce. Nagrada je bila izdelava voščilnice po naročilu. Žreb je srečo prinesel Marii, ki si je zaželela voščilnico za obletnico poroke svojih staršev. Zaupala mi je, da je to njuna 49 obletnice poroke, vse ostalo pa je prepustila moji domišljiji. Odločila sem se za pastelno rumeno in belo barvo v kombinaciji z zlato. V osrednji del voščilnice sem postavila obok okrašen z rožam, skozi njega pa stopa par - želela sem ponazoriti njuno skupno pot skozi življenje. Kot znak ljubezni pa sem na vrh dodala še dva zlata ptička.

This month I organized a prize draw for the followers of my Facebook  page. The prize was a custom-made card and the lucky winner was Maria. She desired a card for her parents' 49th wedding anniversary. I decided to use pastel yellow and white colours in combination with gold. In the central part of the card I put the arch embellished with flowers and a couple walking underneath - I wanted to illustrate their journey through life. As a symbol of love, I put two golden birds above.

Beležka za Kalido / Notebook for Kalida

V tej objavi vam pokažem kako sem okrasila beležko za punčko. Platnice sem polepila z živahnim papirjem z rožicami, na naslovno stran pa sem dodala motiv punčke z gugalnim konjem (štampiljka Gorjus, motiv pobarvan s Promarkerji). Na naslovno platnico pa seveda sodi tudi ime prejemnice. Ker je ozadje že samo po sebi zelo pisano, nisem uporabila veliko dodatnih okraskov.

In this post I want to show how I embellished a notebook for a girl. First, I stuck the covers with patterned paper with lovely flowers. On the front cover I added an image of a girl with a rocking horse (stamp by Gorjuss, coloured with Promarkers) and a label with the name. Since the background is very lively I did not use too many other embellishments.

Medo / Bear

Prejšnji vikend me je poštar razveselil s prav posebnim paketom. Ko sem občudovala Vladkine motive pobarvane z barvicami, se nisem mogla upreti, da to poizkusim tudi sama. Naročila sem set 36 barvic Faber-Castell (Polychromos), saj mi je bilo všeč, da imajo zelo veliko pigmenta. Na akvarelni papir sem natisnila motiv medvedka is serije štampiljk Fizzy Moon, ki je bil v moji shrambi že kar nekaj let, a nikoli uporabljen. Na začetku sem malce oklevala, potem pa je kar steklo, čeprav sem za barvanje motiva porabila kar nekaj časa. Medvedka sem potem umestila med meni ljube rožnate tone in dodala zgolj še pentljo v rahli srebni barvi, saj je motiv glavna zvezda voščilnice.

Last weekend I got a special delivery. After I admired how Vladka coloured the images with coloured pencils, I could not resist to try it myself. I ordered a set of 36 Faber-Castell (Polychromos) colour pencils since I liked their rich pigmentation. I took a Fizzy Moon stamp motif of a bear, which was in my storage for years, but never used, and I stamped it on the watercolour paper. At first, I was a bit hesitant with colouring, but then I slowly got into it, although it took me quite a while, to colour the whole image. In making the card I used patterned papers in my favourite pink colours and added just a light silver ribbon since the bear is the main focus of the card.

To voščilnico sem izdelala ko se mi je malce mudilo. Še največ časa sem porabila za izbiro usklajenega papirja in trakcev, ter za zavezovanje pentelj.

Še ena okrogla / Another milestone

Po objavi prejšnje voščilnice me je kontaktirala znanka. Za sestrin 40. rojstni dan si je zaželela podobno voščilnico. Ohranila sem podobno postavitev, le papirje sem izbrala v bolj ženskih, rožnatih tonih in dodala slavljenkino ime.

After posting the card in the previous post, I was contacted by a friend. She asked me if I could make a similar card for her sister's 40th birthday. I used a similar setting but chose different patterned papers in more female, pink tones and added the birthday girl's name.

Škatlici za Pija in Jana / Explosion boxes for Pij and Jan

Ti škatlici sta bili izdelani ob rojstvu dveh fantkov po imenu Pij in Jan. Izbrala sem poseben papir v modrem odtenku, ga reliefno embosirala in z njim polepila glavne površine škatlic. V osrednji del škatlic sem postavila kipec štorklje z dojenčkom. Na stranice škatlic sem dodala še nekaj okraskov, lepo misel, voščilo, na eni škatlici pa tudi kuvertico za denar. Na pokrovčke pa sem umestila modrega ptička.

These two explosion boxes were made for two newborn boys named Pij and Jan. I chose a special blue paper, which I dry embossed and stick over the main surfaces of the boxes. In the central part of the boxes I placed a statuette of stork with a baby. On the sides of the boxes I added some decoration, quotes, good wishes and in one box also an envelop for money. On the lid of the boxes I added a blue bird.

Nagrajenka bonbončka / Candy draw winner

Zahvaljem se vsem, ki ste pod "bonbončkovo" objavo pustile komentarje. Vsakega posebej sem prebrala z veseljem, kakor tudi vse ostale komentarje na mojem blogu. Tokrat pišem post zgolj v slovenščini, saj ste vse, ki ste sodelovale v žrebu domače. Glede na mojo obljubo, bi moralo biti žrebanje že včeraj, a včeraj sem imela res dolg in natrpan dan, tako da nisem utegnila izvesti žrebanja. Le-to je zato potekalo danes zjutraj - na listke sem napisala imena vseh 11 sodelujočih in jih dala v skledo. Moj dragi je pod mojim budnim očesom žrebal... in srečo prinesel Majdi! 

Majda, iskrene čestitke! In kako naključje, na isti dan praznujeva rojstni dan, tako da hkrati tudi vse najboljše!

Srček pod folijo / Heart under the foil

Idejo za to voščilnico sem si sposodila pri Tini, ki je s pomočjo izrezkov in alu folije upodobila srce in metulja. Površino folije sem pobarvala z akrilnimi barvami in si pri tem pomagala kar s prsti. Pomotoma sem "popacala" še zeleni okvir in potem namenoma nadaljevala... končni učinek se mi ni zdel slab.

I got the idea for this card from Tina, who visualized a heart and a butterfly with the help of die cuts and aluminium foil. I finger painted the foil with acrylic colours and accidentally also smeared the green frame... I continued adding the pink blots... and I liked the final result.

Zvončki / Snowdrops

Ko se zima poslavlja, pridejo na plano prvi zvončki... znanilci pomladi. Odtisnjen motiv sem pobarvala z akvareli, za ozadje pa dodala papir v različnih zelenih tonih.

Snowdrops are the sign that spring will soon be on its way. I coloured the stamped motif with watercolours and used a green tone patterned paper for the background.

Dež ali sonce / Rain or shine

Za izdelavo te voščilnice me je spodbudil izziv na Craft-alnici - slider. V preteklosti sem že naredila dve drseči voščilnici, taki ki se odpirata v obe smeri (pokukaj tukaj). Te vrste drsečko, pa sem tokrat ustvarila prvič.

Uporabila sem štampiljke Happy Little Stampers, ki sem jih zadela na enem izmed njihovih izzivov. Odtis je toplotno embosiran in pobarvan z avarelnimi barvami.

The Craft-alnica's challenge (slider) encouraged me to make this card. In the past I already did two slider cards, double ones (see here); but I have never tried to make one like this.

I used Happy Little Stampers stamps, which I have won on one of their challenges. I heat embossed the image and coloured it with watercolours.
